Meet your instructor, Jane!

Jane is a Pilates instructor, business owner, and busy mum of two living in the island city of Launceston (Tasmania, Australia) where she’s been running her own Pilates Studio since 2011.

Jane has over 15 years of experience teaching Pilates. Training under the highly acclaimed Polestar Pilates, she is an accredited Mat Pilates Fitness Instructor and qualified Clinical Mat & Studio Pilates trainer. Jane also has a Bachelor of Education Degree, which is where her love of teaching came from.

An avid athlete, Jane’s passion for health and fitness stems from her sporting background, with years of competing in duathlons and triathlons, hockey, and dance. “I love sport and movement and found that Pilates prevented so many of the injuries that affect athletes or even just the everyday person from reaching their potential and fitness goals,” Jane says. She believes Pilates has the power to strengthen your body and optimise its movement, which is why she’s dedicated her life to practicing and teaching it.
